OUR PHILOSOPHY

 

For children to have a strong sense of identity, to connect with their world and to be confident and involved learners they need to be nurtured and  recognised as individuals with differing abilities and interests. When children’s interests and abilities are recognised suitable learning spaces can be created thus providing an environment and opportunity for the child to grow and to learn. The educators at wombat occasional child care recognise our family grouped service is unique thus making it essential we provide a range of experiences that engage the various ages of children and promote active participation in our day to day experiences. We strive to create nurturing and respectful relationships with our children to foster a sense of belonging and enable us to support children’s developing confidence and sense of identity.
